Allison Andrews is the owner of Foothills Canine Academy and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She started her education by graduating with Honors from Animal Behavior College and later attended All Dog’s Academy Instructors Training Course. She is a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and American Kennel Club CGC Approved Evaluator.
Her company's mission is to improve relationships and enrich the quality of life for both dog owners and their pets. By providing positive education tools and non-intimidating training methods, families can have the well-behaved dog they always wanted.
Her years of training experience and behavior education delivers results to her pet dog owners and competitive scent sport handlers. She has trained with many professional scent detection trainers in the United States. And she has found success using positive methods that best work for the specific individual dog and handler. Allison’s diverse knowledge and patient teaching style has her students and dogs seeing winning results at trials and huge success in home environments.
Additionally, Allison has over 5 years experience working in boarding and daycare facilities located in both Greenville, SC and Statesboro, GA. Her most recent position was at Tail Lights Dogs, as Director of Training. Allison is dedicated to treating dogs with respect and kindness, while maintaining rules and structure in their lives.
